A moment of acting genius. This scene is one of the greatest moments in Christmas cinematic history. Yet, I do not think that I have ever acknowledged the brilliant preformance that little “Flick” gives us. Maybe it is because of the fact that he is so convincing that I have not thought of his “actorness” during the scene. He is simply Flick, the kid who gets his tongue stuck to the pole. What a fantastic movie.
